Dr. David Hamrock, M.D. is a Board Certified, Fellowship trained Dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology & joined the practice in 2013. Dr. Hamrock graduated from Youngstown State University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Biology. During his time at YSU he was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, on the National Dean’s list, a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society and concluded with a membership Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. While attending the Medical College Of Ohio, he attained a Pathology Fellowship. During Medical School he was the recipient of the Microbiology and Immunology award, he received the Vernon Volland Memorial Scholarship, was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and was also awarded the Ruppert, M.D. Merit Scholarship.
Dr. Hamrock has been involved in many research experiences some consisting of the National Institutes of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases Laboratory of Skin Biology working in the laboratory of Peter Steinert, Ph.D. to help uncover the genetic defect in Sjogren-Larsson Syndrome. He completed his Dermatology residency at Wayne State University, and then went on to finish a Dermatology Fellowship at the Center for Blistering Diseases in Boston Massachusetts. Dr. Hamrock served as Faculty for the Cleveland Clinic from 2005 to 2013. Dr. Hamrock also has multiple publications, and been honored as the guest lecturer for various dermatology groups.
